Wolfson College Cambridge
The College was founded by the University of Cambridge
in 1965 as University College, changing its name to Wolfson College in 1973
following generous funding from the Wolfson Foundation. The College is now a
mature institution and plays a full part in the life of the University of
Cambridge, both intellectually and also culturally.
The majority of Wolfson's students are carrying out research towards postgraduate
degrees, in particular PhDs and MPhils, but there also students studying for
taught Masters degrees and a number of mature undergraduates. Wolfson has a
large and diverse Fellowship of academics working within the University of
Cambridge, including about 30 postdoctoral Research Fellows each year, as
well as regular academic visitors from abroad, further enhancing the
College's international reputation.
Advanced
undergraduates, graduates and practitioners from all over the world
specializing in the relevant fields of social sciences as well as
international and domestic practitioners in these fields are invited to
apply.
